About Sifte

Sifte is a hosted search directory and link verification platform built for people who still want search results that point to real websites.

Website owners can submit URLs for manual human review. Sifte verifies ownership, checks relevance and quality, and publishes approved links in a verified search index after acceptance and payment.

The public mission is simple: search should help people discover websites, not replace the website with a summary. Sifte is one alternative to AI generated search summaries, built around smaller reviewed sets of links instead of a crawler trying to index everything.

Sifte does not sell traffic, clicks, sales, leads, or third party ranking outcomes. It sells manual verification and verified directory inclusion for links that pass review.

What Sifte does differently

Sifte is human reviewed.

We do not crawl the web. We do not try to index everything. We do not build giant result pages full of SEO noise.

Instead, each search phrase has a small, controlled set of results. A result is added because a real person reviewed it and decided it belongs there.

For major brands and obvious official websites, we list the clear source. For everything else, links are reviewed by me and the Sifte team before they are included.

How verification works

Submitting a link is free. Sifte checks ownership, relevance, safety, duplication, quality, and category fit.

If a link is accepted, Sifte sends an invoice for the selected listing term. Approved links are published after payment. Rejected links are not charged.

Listing fees are $9.90/month or $99/year per approved link. The yearly option saves $19.80 per year, equal to 16.7% or two months free. Multi-year prepayment can lock the current yearly rate for the prepaid term.

Payment does not guarantee traffic, clicks, sales, leads, rankings in third party search engines, or higher placement inside Sifte. Results are ranked by Sifte's relevance and quality criteria, not simply by payment amount.

Sifte is built to make the web easier to inspect again: no crawling, no giant database, no AI summary replacing the page, just carefully reviewed links back to websites.
