Service
Sifte is a hosted search directory and link verification platform. Website owners submit URLs for manual human review. Sifte verifies ownership and evaluates submitted links under published quality and eligibility standards.
Submission and billing
- Submitting links is free.
- Sifte manually reviews submitted links for ownership, relevance, safety, quality, duplication, and category fit.
- Approved links are invoiced for the selected listing term.
- Monthly listing is $9.90/month per approved link.
- Yearly listing is $99/year per approved link, saving $19.80/year compared with monthly billing.
- Accepted links can be prepaid for 2, 3, or 5 years to lock the current yearly listing rate for that prepaid term.
- Rejected links are not charged and do not receive an invoice.
- Approved listings are published after payment.
Renewals and rate lock
A prepaid multi-year listing keeps the accepted listing at the current yearly rate for the prepaid term. Renewals after the prepaid term are billed at the then-current rate unless a new prepaid term is accepted before expiration.
No traffic or ranking guarantee
Sifte does not guarantee traffic, clicks, sales, leads, rankings in third party search engines, or placement in any third party search or AI system. Payment does not buy ranking priority inside Sifte. Sifte rankings are based on Sifte's search and quality criteria, not simply on payment amount.
Submitter responsibilities
- You must be authorized to submit each URL.
- Your submission must be accurate and must not impersonate another party.
- You must not submit illegal, unsafe, deceptive, spammy, or malicious content.
- You agree that Sifte may reject, remove, or decline to publish links that do not meet Sifte's standards.
Removal and changes
Sifte may remove or update listings that become unsafe, misleading, unavailable, irrelevant, duplicated, low quality, or outside Sifte's eligibility standards. Sifte may also update these terms and submission guidelines as the service changes.
